Bio

Bill Williams is an artist living in Southwestern Idaho since 2005.  He works primarily with photography.  Bill uses many different photographic tools including Black and White film, instant materials, and digital processes.  His work reveals both fascination and wonder at the world around us, as well as a sense of awe for the creation.

Born in Illinois (1950), he spent most of his life in the Pacific Northwest of the United States.  Between 1976 and 1984 his work with manipulated SX-70 photos, Black and White prints, and Kodachrome slides appeared in both group shows and in print, before he withdrew from the pursuit of public notice.  Bill was  recently a student at Boise State University in the BFA  Photography program.  His teachers included Larry McNeil, Matthew Brunicardi, and Jonathan Sadler.

Bill is happily married, has two daughters, and two grandsons!  And a Yorkie named Rocco.
