These photographs explore recurring dreams of wandering away from the familiar and travelling to someplace that is not quite known. Sometimes these dreams begin with the dreamer leaving his home then finding himself in an unrecognizable city, not knowing where he is, or where he is to go next. Always there is a journey. The journey will take the dreamer down many strange roads and through landscapes that are indistinct. Are any of these places even vaguely familiar? Does he know where he is going or why, and has he been here before? What does it mean? This isn’t a daydream, or even a nightmare. But what is it? And will he even remember it when he awakes?
